Seminole Coconut Creek Casino but please don't think I am criticizing the Casino because normally we have done very well with the payouts. One time my wife on her FIRST spin in the Casino one night at the new style Cleopatra Slots won well over $100 on a small bet. I might even have a video of that on one of the channels. Meanwhile today at that Cleopatra slots we also hit but with a low payout. It was one of the slots I couldn't include in this video because of the time factor.
That machine is horrible! Lots of bells and whistles but not much of a jackpot. I love Dragonball machines, but I play higher denominations and bets and win quite often. For example, I won $6300 last April on a Dragonball at my local Arizona casino playing the nickel denomination at $5.00 per bet. You can win on penny slots too, but it’s best to stick to the more basic ones like old school Buffalo or Dancing Drums which are less volatile and pay out quite frequently.
They can’t be controlled remotely. They are preset to pay out whatever the minimum return the state sets, usually 93 to 95% of what is put into the machine. However, that’s over the lifetime of the machine which is estimated to be up to 10,000,000 “pulls.” The machine will reset towards the end of its life, which is set by the manufacturer, and start paying out either more or less in order to meet its preset goal.
my money comes too damned hard to piss it away like that...
no thanks...
So this month we "pissed away" $30 to $40 which was offset by last month's net of about $520. Plus we just enjoy the experience. We had way more than $40 worth of fun today and it lasted almost four hours. BTW, I normally do money management but the bizarre low payoffs today sort of threw me off my game.
Penny slot
16 bucks is 1600 pennies
Yea PJ I was wondering why you didn’t instantly cash out.
Thanks for clearing that up
Interesting. I was wondering what happened to the old school format slots like Stinkin' Rich and Moneystorm.
Now, they are replaced by the bight LED monstrosities that give you a sunburn while you play.
PS I don't play them, I watch my wife and sister-in-law feed them.
An Eight Ball, a case of Budweiser, 1/5 of Jim Beam and 48 hours in Brightmoor might change your mind.
It ain’t for everyone. Just saying.😄
Our weekly Monday trips to the MGM National Harbor are not about my 86-year-old wife trying to win...
It’s about stretching the losing at slots out for a few hours as entertainment...
Occasionally, she comes out ahead, but she always enjoys herself...
I don’t touch the slots... I only stand guard... An important function when you are in the DC-MD area...
We go early in the morning (9AM) and, win or lose, are out of there before the rush hour starts at 2PM...
There’s something you don’t see everyday, losing at slots. 😉
The house always wins.
“You won the lottery when you went to Las Vegas and went home still owning your house and car.”
ha ha Good one!
Haven’t you heard? The house always wins. Maybe not at first but they always win in the end.
Seems like drunks losing money would be their bread and butter.
I stopped going to MGM a couple of years ago. Last two times the parking garage smelled like a urinal, really strong smell.
I spend my time at Live Casino in Hanover. It takes me an hour to get there but the crowd is not as sketchy.
The Seminole Tribe probably had some big bills to pay off recently...your “luck” may return in awhile...as opposed to Nevada casinos with NV Gaming Commission Payout percentage rules, Native American casinos can do whatever they want in regards to payouts and change ‘em up at will.
My wife can’t do much anymore, but she’ll drag herself out to have a play. Stage 4 you know. I don’t begrudge her any more, but these Casinos in Nevada are definitely not what they used to be. Especially since the vid. Food sucks, is very expensive, hard to get a drink, buffets are lousy if they have them anymore, and the comps are nicked and dimed. These corporate run places should be banned.
I always walk out when I’m up at least $5,000. You have to bet big to win big.
I was in Vegas earlier this year, to visit my son, who is an Air Force officer there. We walked the strip, watched people throw their money away, ate some good food, and left. For excitement, we went to a couple of Vegas Golden Knights hockey games. The thing that amused me the most, however, was all the slot machines in the departure gates at the Las Vegas airport.
