I remember that day very well. Logged into FR for a couple of minutes to see the speech. Logged out just short of midnight.

That thing stank like a dead fish from the very start. I don't fault anyone on the stage with Trump, but it was already apparent that a punk with a rifle was able to get multiple 120 yard shots at the President unopposed. That's either gross incompetence on the part of the SS or collusion or both. And the best we got from the media were dark mutterings that Trump had staged the thing.
