The WNBA is a joke within a joke. I can’t imagine a worse way to spend my time. You would literally have to pay me to watch it. Now I would watch the NBA champions play the WNBA champions, provided they play with the men’s basketball and provide incentives for the men to play well. 422 - 8? LOL.

They will have more time for scissoring with each other.

scissoring? I never understood that term. Shouldn't it be more like lip synching?

While on strike, ya’ think they might learn how to box out and aggressively go for a rebound? How about not letting in easy layups. Or cross court passes...

Probably never inbound a ball after a basket. If so, wouldn’t get past the 10 second line. Road runner vs Wiley Coyote...meep, meep.

I wish Caitlin would go to Europe so that the WNBA could circle the drain.

Sixty years ago, when John Wooden's UCLA dynasty was dominating, they'd begin games with a 2-2-1 zone press, manned by five former high school All Americans, with first Keith Erickson and later Lew Alcindor playing safety in case the press was ever beaten. Opponents were completely overwhelmed, and after five minutes the game was over, 18-2. Wooden would take the press off then--no team was coming back against that juggernaut.

Lesbians hit hardest.

Go and watch your football or BB or All Star Wrestling, but not all players in the WNBA are dykes, and not all fans are either. It’s fun to watch girls play, and for me to cheer for my team. It’s not a man’s sport, so all you he/she’s stay the F out of the WNBA.

Think of it as if your daughter or granddaughter played the game. Parents bring their young families and have a fun time.

“wish Caitlin would go to Europe so that the WNBA could circle the drain”

She would make salary wise in the neighborhood of 8x more in a top league. Endorsement wise which is the key I have no idea.

How effective is an offseason strike?

So what? They had a chance to improve interest and viewership and went down the racist woke hole instead. No more.

Yeah, I don’t understand her business sense. Every for her health, I’d take the money and run, sinking her enemies.

All in favor of a strike are devoted to the NBA. The NBA is a racket, they want all the chips. I quit the hoop after grueling military tourney in 1988. Literally bought ergonomic sandals because my dawgs we’re totally spent. Never looked back, have watched a few recaps... and think the season is entirely too long... yet think the MLB season is about right, oh and sadly I watch the usually lopsided Superbowl from time to time.

Rugby is interesting, Shinty is under appreciated, UFC highlights capture my attention, I knew a unusually skilled foosballer who became an LGPA caddie and passed on few years back. I tried to understand cricket... women’s beach volly ball has my vote, and I enjoy watching golf recaps & boxing history. That’s about it.

I don’t understand why these leagues have such issues, it’s an easy problem to solve.

Revenue share. Base salary of what, $20M per year, then give them a portion of revenue from the team, the league, or a combination of both. Making the players have some ownership would greatly improve their attitudes I’d bet. And their pay goes up and down with everyone else’s, so there’s no argument about owners making record profits while they get paid pennies...
