Thank you very much and God bless you.

So what does Canada do if Trump flips if they cancel the F-35?

Nothing. They’re not going to spend a sum that large just to placate the President.

We should start sinking their ice breakers and fishing trawlers.

Hogan believes that the original price tag was determined in 2019 and that the monetary requirements have changed since then. Inflation has kicked in, and the Canadians do not want to pay a higher premium.

I'd like to buy stuff at 2019 prices too, how can I do that?

Inflation has kicked in

And that's what happens when you drag a program out over many years ... decade(s) old cost estimates are meaningless. The airplanes don't "cost" more, you Canucks just devalued your currency. I bet it's about the same "cost" in ounces of gold.

Didn’t Trudeau cancel it and then start it up again , that could be a big part of the cost right there ,LOL

The other issue is that the per-unit cost increases if you slow down purchasing.

Maybe the Communist Liberals will buy something cheap from their Chinese Communist Party friends

Indeed. There are fixed costs to keeping the factory open regardless of production rate. And then there’s the gambit of spreading development costs over units produced. Fewer units produced yields greater development cost per unit. Anti-American communists in the democRAT Party use these tricks routinely to deceive We the People.

Canada is owned lock, stock, and barrel, by its colonial-globalist overlords in London.

Well, that’s the point. They negotiated a price in 2017 ... and 8 years of inflation have wrecked the Canuck-Buck relative to the US Dollar ... and for that matter, wrecked it relative to the Canuck-Buck of 2017.

Now they’re whining.

I say to ‘em: “Kwitcherbitchin’ and pay. You won’t get a better deal from anybody else.”
