Why did Justice Kagan oppose nationwide injunctions in 2022 but support them now?
@ScottJenningsKY : "In 2022, Justice Kagan actually gave an interview and said out loud what a lot of conservatives have been saying this year, which is that how can it be that an individual district court judge can issue a nationwide injunction and effectively grind a presidency to a halt and, you know, take years and years and years for it to go through the process?"
"Now, she obviously voted the other way this time around. I wonder what caused her to change her opinion."
Not stupidity or insanity or greed. Just a rat hack like the rest of them.
Well....let’s see....who was Prez in ‘22 ? D-Biden.
Who challenged ? Evil Rs
Whereas in ‘25, who’s Prez ? R-Trump.
Who’s challenging ? Lefty Ds
Simple enough for all to see
Because she rules on emotion instead of adhering to the Constitution and our laws.
Kagan is credited with having some legal chops as Dean of Harvard Law, but today we ask why in hell is Katenji Brown Jackson in the same room.
She ignores the constitution, law and precedent and votes on ‘feelings’, on what in her twisted mind seems “fair”.
She’s the embarrassment, as duly noted by Coney Barrett. Few justices besides Sotomayer will want to align themselves with KBJ on future votes. I see lots of 7-2 votes, with occasional 6-3s .
I will grant her legal chops for being a professor of law at Harvard - some. One of the problems is that Harvard teaches not just law but alternative theories of law, invent your own law, etc. But almost nowhere is Dean of an academic department an honor. It’s an administrative nightmare.
And this is exactly the difference with Liberals. They have absolutely no core values. They are driven and overwhelmed by their emotions with every last breath given to their god, partisan power.
You win...it was Harvard after all, but I maintain focus should be on KBJ, which raises the question: can SC justices be removed, and by what means ?
Jeez...a lifetime of that idiocy....
Flighty gurrl logic.
And, like every guy knows about any gurrl, if you recall when she went one way she will deny that it ever happened.
“I wonder what caused her to change her opinion.”

A complete and utter lack of integrity, making her complete and utter hypocrisy inevitable.
Before this I would have said that she is the only one of the three that has any smarts, and at least a modicum of integrity. The former is still true; the latter she’s shown to be definitively not true
Hypocrisy is a hallmark of liberalism.
simple answer: She’s a democrat.
