Hard to impose a ceasefire when it’s a Satanic aggressive Islamonazi regime that still subscribes to jihad, lying to non- Moslems, and only short truces to rearm themselves. And hard to impose a ceasefire on Israel when it is clearly premature and would obviously save the Iranian dictatorship to keep it in power with some of its missiles and bombs intact.
President Trump should wait a couple weeks. By then, the Iranian people may have gotten themselves a peaceful sane government. And ar least the dictatorship will be defanged with no more ability to attack any other countries.

The dynamics of war has changed drastically over the past several years.
Air campaigns with stealth, missiles and drones are the new reality, as much as tanks were after the Panzer Blitzkrieg. Tanks and Aircraft Carriers are now the past.
If you have allegiances to other countries, perhaps you want to see this country fail. I’d like to think that those who express such sentiments are only doing it out of fear of the US losing, not hope.
In any case, this “war” is over; or at least this stage of it. The Iranian people are weary. Let’s give them a chance to change things up and support them as best we can. That, in my opinion, will do more than GBU-57s.

Just yesterday I was talking with my fourteen year old Granddaughter who considers Trump her bigger than life hero. Out on school break I asked her what she was up to. “Getting ready for WWIII”. Ask her what her thoughts were because obviously she has been closely watching the news. She plainly stated “Trump is trying to fix it but I don’t think he can”.

The benefits of any ceasefire is to consolidate and reorganize.
For Iran, it is time to redistribute launchers and missiles.
For Israel, its time to do the same, but also monitor Iran’s movements, identify new targets, and determine weapons supply routes.
For the US, its an opportunity to appear to be at least a slightly less biased peace broker. It is also the opportunity to complete the BDA of the nuke sites and observe Iran’s movements and reactions.
That’s why the ayatollahs have to go one way or another.

Third, quickly broadcasting positive messages to the world, and speaking peace into existence... even if highly unlikely... is not something to be looked down upon. He isn't your psychic medium. He is the leader of the free world, trying to keep an 80-year regional conflict between quasi-nuclear powers from coming to a head. Absolutely true. But it has it’s issues too. Would the Iranian people accept this over their deep rooted faith? And how long before the Crown Prince starts to feel his power and might and just do the same thing and reboot this whole perpetual conflict again?
Agree with the title, without the hyperbole, and with deeper truth - The War Between Israel and the Mullahs of Tehran is not over. The war has never been about any intrinsic national interest of the people of Iran. It is totally a theological based war coming from the Mullah’s radical theology, in which they have hijacked Iranian nationalism and made it a servant of their own narrow radical political interest.
