He SHOULD stop the bill. At least long enough until it can be fixed.

It’s good to see some fiscal pressure on this bill.
They’re spending like drunken sailors with no cuts driven by DOGE reveals.
The White House will get most of what they want. But not all of it.

No bill is perfect. Hopefully the Senate can make it better. I’m afraid they will make it more expensive.

Please state the changes that you want in terms of both amounts and who the changes would affect.

Its now time for the Senate to put its 2 cents in. These folks love to wield their perceived leverage. Its basically extortion because even Johnson can bought… just have to find out what he really wants.

We don't get to run with the Republicans we want, only the RINOs we have. Every tweak will risk dropping someone else in the existing coalition, especially when we have to reconcile with the House.
I give Rand Paul a pass because he is "on brand", and never teamed up with the Dems.
Trump wanted the "Big, Beautiful Bill" rather than a fleet of smaller bills because of the filibuster rule. They will not remove the tight ropes around him. This bill would loosen them a bit.
In any event, the Trump tax fixes have to be made substantially permanent.

It is not wise to oppose Trump at this stage of the game. The bill is Not perfect but at this point it is needed. Let Trump have his bill.
