It looks that way to me.
It used to be that Democrats were the worst nightmare for pharmaceutical drug makers. They kept pushing for price controls.
Then Democrats became very accommodating. Covid was the big one with Democrats pushing hard for shots with Pfizer and Moderna each receiving tens of billions of dollars in revenue each year.
Why the switch from greatest threat to best friend? I suspect Democrats finally got their payola.
Dems used to be a lot of things, such as they used to be the party of no more wars, Code Pink prancing around protesting Bush calling him a war mongerer, same for the Cheney family, now the same left loves endless wars..the only Dem so far that wants to codify Trumps pharma agenda is Ro Khanna, gee where the hell is the GOP

Being a very old man and in high school during Vietnam, your remark reminded me of when the Dems drummed up the peace movement to counter the old guard of their party conducting the Vietnam war. It never occurred to them that people who throw homemade explosives and burn down buildings might not be the greatest delegates at the Chicago convention. They tried to play both sides back then too.

And BigFood, too. Saw a Youtuber recently on the Food coloring issue, showing Kellogg’s Fruitloops sold in Canada and the version sold in America. The colors were much more subdued for the Canadian cereal as only natural food colorings are allowed in Canada. Still wouldn’t eat anything produced by Woke Kellogg no matter what.
Cereal is diabetes in a box.
