Yay! I hope it can help the homeless vet in my town. He was injured in Iraq and has nerve damage — and only gets $928/month for that — and he has bone cancer. He works as he can between cancer treatments, but eventually could not manage to pay his rent. A church member helped him get on the list for low income housing, but it will take eight months. We have helped him as we can out of our own pockets, but there is only so much we can do.

It’s a scandal how we treat our vets. I am so glad President Trump is doing this.

Luckily he’s in the US. Our (Canadian) much vaunted (by lefties) ‘universal health care system’, often offers MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying), aka euthanasia, to vets who are physically, emotionally, or mentally incapable of working.

If you can’t contribute to Canaduh’s socialist utopia, you are considered ‘worthless’ and are apt to receive ‘counselling’ directions you to end your life.

That is heartbreaking! So evil (shiver).

The vet in my town is in good shape mentally, manages to somehow stay positive. He’s in a much better place mentally than most would be in his situation.

I’m glad it’s not as bad as in Canada, but it really frosts me that our tax dollars are wasted on so many idiotic useless things, yet our disabled veterans are treated so shabbily.
