This nomination fell by the wayside for numerous reasons, but it wasn’t a good pick. Dr. Janette Nesheiwat was a Dr. Anthony Fauci acolyte, promoting most of the worst COVID nonsense on Fox News. She also gave Facebook props for censoring posts that raised questions about the COVID vaccine.
She also peddled panic porn about travel to Florida during this period. There were serious problems with Dr. Nesheiwat, whose nomination is being pulled by Trump. There were supposedly concerns about her credentials. I mean, it appears she wasn’t completely honest about where she attended medical school, which isn’t good, but I think we know why she was shown the door (via Axios):

As far as I know, she’s not a licensed MD and she dropped out of medical school. Also may have Rockefeller ties.

She addressed leaving her field, although I didn’t pick up that it was med school. She said she was disgusted with the idea of treating instead of finding out WHY people were getting sick and addressing that. She saw the surgical push as simply a way to make money by more doctors and hospitals.
Can’t say as I have a problem with that.

I listened to the entire interview Casey and Callie Means did with Tucker. I also listened to part of the Callie Means interview with Kruse and Bowden.
I thought the timing of them coming out of nowhere, just as many were calling for a ban on mRNA + to take a second look at traditional vaccines was a bit convenient.
I agree with Dr Mary Bowden that there are question marks.
Don’t get me wrong - I’ve disagreed with Bowden that nutrition isn’t a critical aspect to be addressed. In fact, I think there needs to be a parallel track. If we don’t deal with foods which are making us sick, parents who do not vx their children, and who end up having panic attacks over illnesses (even if mild), will likely run right back to their pediatricians for childhood injections. Nutrition is possibly (far) worse now than it was before WW2 and before the injections came to market. In those regards, Dr Means is spot on.
I would prefer Dr Ladapo (FL SG) but I suspect he would have a tough time being confirmed.
There’s no perfect candidate for sure. Even Bowden, who I greatly admire, is better working as a physician than being in politics. She’s got too much political baggage from her battle with Methodist and the Texas MB.
