While any accident that results in death is tragic, the incident happened in Travis County, the Berkeley of Texas. Given that Travis County is a Democrat hellhole, he is not likely to get more than a stern lecture, if that. This man should never have been issued a CDL license but that falls on the Texas Department of Public Safety, or whatever state issued the license. Hopefully, Solomun Weldekeal-Araya can be charged under a Federal statute. He is a native of Eritrea who has refugee status. If not, he should be deported back to Eritrea pronto.
I predict Solomun Weldekeal-Araya will mysteriously disappear as soon as he gets out of jail, and will never be tried.
