Before Elias was working to destroy our election system in America, he was a principal actor in the likely criminal Crossfire Hurricane scandal to impeach Trump.
This week documents released by FBI Director Kash Patel revealed that ex-British spy Christopher Steele had been hired by the opposition research firm Fusion GPS to conduct his baseless anti-Trump research dossier, and Fusion GPS in turn had been hired by Clinton’s 2016 campaign by now ex-Perkins Coie lawyer Marc Elias.
Marc Elias, Perkins Coie, and the Obama regime then ran with this bogus document to spy on then candidate and future president Trump.
Marc Elias was the scoundrel behind the entire hoax that was focused on destroying the incoming US President.
This weekend Marc Elias is sounding pretty nervous as he continues to lie about President Trump. What a typical leftist weasel.
Marc Elias: You're not going to intimidate me. So, you know, we're going to, I'm going to continue to do what I need to do as a responsible citizen. I'm going to speak out against tyranny. I'm going to speak out against Donald Trump's uh, uh, uh, unlawful actions. And I'm going to litigate. I'm not going to be a coward and back down from that.

(Getting one “bird” to sing could help them follow the trail and close any loopholes.)
Maybe that’s why Patel promoted corrupt Jensen to a new job at the FBI, he sang like a canary.
I would love that to be the case, but why would you need to promote Jensen in order to get him to sing like a bird? Why not simply give him immunity in exchange for his testimony and cooperation, like it’s usually done? A get out of jail free card is usually more than enough to get a criminal to cooperate.
Gallows and firing squads are made precisely for men such as he. The tree of liberty needs watering.
You make good points but all we can do is speculate why such an anti-January 6er was promoted.
I hope Trump ships Elias to El Salvador. That would be fun.
Spot on
need to end this, need to redefine what a “jury of peers” means, and there are other jurisdictions, like NYC that need the same remedy.
If it’s the “United States vs. Mark Elias, “ why is the jury pool the same as “DC vs. John Doe” for infraction of some local ordinance ?
“DOJ should wage all out war on Marc Elias till he’s in jail for a very long time.”

It should, but probably won’t. If we’ve learned anything its that the GOP is not going after anyone and there will be no accountability. But there will be be lots of posturing, rhetoric, and appearances on Fox News. The base confuses talk with real action so nothing ever changes.
That’s why we still haven’t seen the Epstein list despite promises to the contrary. Maybe something will dribble out eventually but it and other incriminating evidence will never be released in its entirety.
Its all just a bunch of games.
Getting a conviction from a DC based jury is very problematic!
DOJ isn’t going to prosecute anyone regardless of the statute of limitations. Regardless what they say, Republicans simple don’t hold anyone accountable. They are more comfortable being enablers than enforcers.
p
good point
They are more comfortable being enablers than enforcers.

that’s a little too cynical for me.
Trump was targeted by Elias. For your take to be true-Trump would have to roll over. There’s no evidence that he’s that kind of guy.
But I do agree that there is plenty of impatience in the republican party for the slow pace of prosecutions of rogue democrat players like elias
based on frequently invoked “disparate outcomes, “ RNC would seem to have standing to sue somebody— John Roberts? to force reassignment of politically charged cases to jurisdictions other than DC.
Its not Trump rolling over but rather some of his people and party apparatchiks who don’t have his fighting instincts. They would rather make noise than do anything to actually hold people accountable. Republicans are notoriously reluctant to retaliate against Democrats; one of the reasons being they have a deep seated fear of being criticized by the media. Plus, they know that at the end of the day the Republican base doesn’t really demand accountability. It’s just not something that the GOP does.
I don’t deny that this is a cynical view but look at the history of the GOP. Dems run all over them without any fear of real retribution. If the Republicans would show some stones that would quickly change.
Trump brought Patel with him to the MMA in Miami this week end.
That may be to bolster his courage because he does look bug eyed.
Ship him to Russia where people often fall out of windows.
Bondi should be out front leading the charge and setting an example for Team trump. Trump can’t do it all by himself. Neither she or Patel have been inspiring thus far.
