Canada's Next Prime Minister | Pierre Poilievre | EP 511

Jordan Peterson sits down with Canadian member of Parliament Pierre Poilievre (and likely the next Prime Minister). They discuss his role as Leader of the Opposition, the untapped energy sector, the real reason Canadians cannot afford homes, how Justin Trudeau has walked the country off a cliff, and what will likely play out in 2025 leading up to the much-needed election.

It was a very enjoyable episode to listen to. I think, assuming Polliviere means what he says, he would fix if he has the majority many of the problems in Canada.

I think many Freepers might vote for him as well if he were running as a candidate in America and if they believed he was telling the truth.

May be enjoyable, but seeing as how it is old, things have happened that make an election less likely to be held, from my understanding.

The election is on, but unfortunately the federal government has authorized the use of the same fraudulent machines so I don’t know how Polliviere will do.

But he sounded really good himself and he gave some really good and honest answers to many questions, including how much of the appearances a politicians makes is really for show, to which he said pretty much all of them.

He will lose - probably badly. He was ahead before Trump talked about making Canada the 51st state. They are also outraged over the tariffs, so nationalistic pride took over and the loony libs will win again.

You’re probably quite right. Canadian voters are known to prefer style over policy. His policies are right, but Canadians prefer flash. We will be punished again for the next four years.

He’s still polling 2nd behind Carney, and NDP is basically a non-factor.
