>> Mere details... what are you, an asshole or something? :-)
Why yes I am guilty as charged! But you forgot the adjective: “sarcastic asshole”. :-) :-)
LOL!
My husband is totally enjoying this! Grand daughter watched a bit when they landed at ISS. It is truly a wonder why this is not a major televised event.
>> but something happend along the way and now I can’t take heights at all
For me, that something is “age”. I am not at all afraid of heights, but I have a healthy fear of falling from them! I climb ladders, but S-L-O-W-L-Y and carefully. Seen too many friends and family recovering from broken stuff!
I keep asking myself that very question.
I keep hearing “NO!!!”
But since it’s not the answer I want to hear, I get up the
next day and try it again. Some day it’s GOTTA WORK!!! LOL
The media has lost its way when it comes to historical events like this. The music on the live feed is soothing to hear.
I used to live on a ladder practically- doing Cafferty work and also painting homes- I could hop a ladder over several feet to reposition it without having to climb down and move it. Didn’t do it much, but a few times in order to save time and get the job done quicker. I had a 40 foot light duty ladder, and it would near bend in half when I got 1/2 up it- dangerous thing! Still got part of it (it bent apart, and bent the ridges that held the 2 parts together finally, so just use one part now formshorter jobs, and have a heavier 40 footer now, much safer.
I,can still climb no problem, but standing on roof near edge nkw, nope, lost my nerve for that- and forget any more rafter work lol- get all dizzy and lightheadednow
Sad.

You have done way more from a ladder than I ever will. Thanks for the insight!
The guys that installed our sectional garage doors were skilled at hopping on their ladders. I admired that skill but I have never attempted to imitate them!
I have a 28 foot sectional ladder I bought when I painted our house 20 years ago. Hardly ever use it — too damn heavy! But once it’s in place it’s like a rock.
20 foot lighter construction aluminum sectional ladder is about my speed now.

Once they get back safely and finally home, I can imagine the first thing they might want is a long hot bath. Eight months of only limited sponging off might leave them a bit rank.
Amen.

Approximately 5:57 p.m. on Tuesday? Is that 'give or take' 20 seconds or 'give or take' 25 seconds?
There is a Reddit Seinfeld group. I posted that picture and asked what pro drummer George reminds you of.
Best answer: Neil Peart. George was going to out-Neil Neil.
George Costanza is man of many talents
