Sorry about the images (or lack thereof) in post #58 above. Apparently I would have to create an online account to reproduce them.
Yeah, this one is fake... Probably designed to make fools of everyone and discredit their beliefs in the real thing.
Or designed just as a prank (i.e., “I did it because I wanted to make something go viral”).;-)
True... Or it is a set up. I think J Allen did it to test us... lol
That liar is on someone’s payroll.;-)
I think these are close up photos, the rocks are 3 feet or so from the camera which makes the tic tac (or rock) about an inch long.
Could it be a sink hole in the sand? That may explain the smooth structure.

Talk about.. timing; it's all fake but true.

Full circle 🔴:It was 1969, the year of the first moon landing and Woodstock, the music festival that defined an entire generation. Meanwhile, deep in the heart of Italy, Ferrero was busy creating the product destined to become its best seller of all times!
A good measure of Tic Tac®‘s meteoric rise to fame was probably due to its catchy name. Previously called "Refreshing Mints", in 1970 it was renamed "Tic Tac®", referring to the distinctive clicking sound that the pack makes as it’s opened and closed.

The symbol for Mars, historically also for iron in alchemy:Ferrero (Italian: [ferˈrɛːro], Spanish: [feˈreɾo]) is a surname of Italian (from Piedmont) and Spanish origin that means 'smith', a person who works with iron, in parallel with surnames like Ferraro, Ferrari and Smith.

SHIFTY BUSINESS! Because on the current website, history changed:
The name "Tic Tac®" originates from the distinctive rattle sound created when the iconic little box is shaken with all its mints inside. As you shake the box, the mints move around, producing a rhythmic "tic" and "tac" sound that is easily recognizable and associated with the brand. This unique sound inspired the name for one of the most famous mints in the world.

Why does this "tic-tac" come to light now? Curiosity's Sol 2692 was on March 3, 2020. Odd.

Curiouser and curiouser. 🤔
(Conclusion The image shows strong signs of Photoshop manipulation or some form of digital editing. The lighting, edge clarity, and texture inconsistencies all point to the “Tic-Tac” being artificially added rather than a real object captured by the Mars rover.)
If true, why did NASA post a fraudulent image on their website?
I’m amazed how gullible some people are. It’s some rocks. It’s some shadows of rocks. 🙄
Parallax View. Great movie!
Do you want to fall for an obvious hoax/prank?
Did you download and save the original NASA photograph?
"Showing strong signs of" and "inconsistencies pointing to" isn't an absolute statement that the image has been photoshopped.
It may not have been photoshopped.
Debunking takes work, not just jumping to conclusions.
“If true, why did NASA post a fraudulent image on their website?”
I don’t think NASA posted the zoomed manipulated image. Someone else doctored the original from NASA and posted it elsewhere and then misrepresented it as coming from the NASA site.
The original was posted at NASA, the doctored was not.
“Why don’t you do some analysis before automatically concluding they are hoaxes? You’re no better than the people you are accusing of falling for hoaxes.
Debunking takes work, not just jumping to conclusions.”
This is an important point. We were honest and went out of our way to try and debunk it first before believing it. Why? Because we do not approach these things with predisposed mental firewalls and cognitive bias before the fact.
We do not just read a headline and then immediately debunk it in our heads before we have even clicked on it, read it, or considered it without any objectivity.
Yesthatjallen is a true believer. He automatically believes his opinions are facts.;-)
Well a Tic tac is better than Sen-Sen.
It is no different than claiming definitively that there is absolutely no way god could exist.
That is cognitive bias. Truth is we don’t know everything in the physical universe and spiritual realm so we really cannot honestly say that for sure can we?
