True, but how many former presidents have their Secret Service security details stand down and leave them behind for those island visits?

A couple things have always bothered me about the Epstein List. First of all, with a couple exceptions, the victims did not go after the predators in court. Sure, there might have been problems with jurisdiction or statute of limitations, but that didn't stop anyone from going after Trump, or Harvey Weinstein. The guy from the 70's Show was criminally convicted of a rape that happened 20 years ago. It just seems that there would have been more legal action from victims, who could remain anonymous. Sure, some might have been scared, or other bought off, but secrets like this just don't stay silent for long. And 200 victims? That's a pretty big pool of people to stay silent.

The other thing that I wondered about was how Ghislaine Maxwell kept quiet, when the list seemed to be her only leverage. Again, she could be scared, or could have made a deal. But jail isn't really a protective space-afterall, that's where Epstein died. And getting a 20 year prison sentance isn't exactly a sweetheart deal, especially when you're 60 years old.

There was always just a little too much hope placed in the list. And I think we probably already know the big names on the list: Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Bill Gates.

Actually there are those who brought up charges. The FBI and others have successfully quashed them. Yet now I expect some to come back in the news eventually.
