These vaccines have prevented millions of hospitalizations. A simple internet search will show the vaccines were very effective in preventing hospitalizations.

After two doses, the vaccine is about 90% effective. After three doses, the effectiveness is about 99%. When almost everyone has been vaccinated, the chances of anyone getting polio is slight (herd immunity).
