Governor DeSantis, my property taxes have been stable for 9 years. But the auto insurance rates have doubled in just 18 months. Better pay attention to auto insurance first.

“Better pay attention to auto insurance first.”

.
New Hampshire doesn’t require auto insurance.

But then, they don’t have many Illegals. (Those are the drivers who don’t know what “wrong way” signs mean).

Property taxes are paid to the state. DeSantis has some control over that issue.

Auto insurance is sold by private companies. DeSantis has as much control over that price as he has what 7/11 charges for a slushy...not much.

Home insurance is a better thing to address, too. I moved here in 2021. My annual payment was $2200 in 01/2022, but it was $3970 for 01/2025.
