That was a pretty airplane. I read somewhere that a working model was build and fitted with engines; and, it flew very well. It wasn’t a game changer.

In 1944 it would have been a game changer because, like the mosquito, it was made of wood and canvas. Which was stealth material at that time. The Allies Radar would have had 6 to 10 minutes less warning on an incoming attack. By 1950, radar had improved a significant amount

Fighter aircraft didn't carry radar. The dogfights would have not been to the German advantage. The only thing those might bring to the table would be speed. As is the case of the ME-262, that was very significant. That was a relatively small aircraft, so I don't think it would have a bomb load sufficient to be a game changer.

Amazingly enough, both existed "in the flesh" in 1938. Their jet engine program didn't provide feasible power plants in time.

Apparently, the ME-262 is a pleasure to fly. I understand the Horton was as well.

New well recently connected, RO system in place after three years of inconsistent HOA water or self hauling bulk water from town supply.

Still concerned about heavy metals here in western Colorado. Testing of well at house tap scheduled for next week. Initial well test was nitrates bordering high, and total solids
