Vice President JD Vance called for the rehiring of a DOGE staffer who resigned from a sensitive Trump administration post over the exposure of tweets advocating for racism and eugenics.
President Donald Trump later endorsed Vance’s recommendation.
Vance gave his view in a reply to a poll that DOGE chief Elon Musk launched on his social media platform X asking users if the staffer, Marko Elez, should be rehired.

His "eugenics" comments were nothing more than expressing a preference to marry only within his (white) ethnic group, a perfectly acceptable position for any minority to take.
What guilt does he need to admit to? What "error" exactly does he need to acknowledge?

We have all heard about Tech employers and Indians abusing the H1B for years. He has a right to question/complain about the system.
I didn’t read his posts or see his shares so IDK if he made racist comments or if some just turned it that way. As to who he plans to marry or not that should be his choice.
In my opinion he needed a reminder about posting on Social Media coming back to bite you. Not fired. I know I am happy their was no Social Media when I was young.

I believe he said he would not marry outside his ethnic group. 90 percent of humanity marries within their ethnic group. He is saying out loud what almost everyone believes. That is far less racist than the average sermon from Joy Reid, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, Al Sharpton, Jamal Bowman, Ayanna Pressly, and company.
