I don’t know who this young woman from Uganda is, but she makes more sense than the entire Democratic House and Senate caucuses combined. I find it interesting that President Trump’s temporary pause in foreign aid spending has brought some foreign voices out of the woodwork, saying, yes: USAID’s spending is riddled with fraud and political corruption, and as a result is at best a mixed blessing for recipient countries:

I do hope it is MORE than a 90 day pause. Every country should be cut off until we solve our debt issue. In the meantime, individuals like this young lady ought to be asking for their own audit of where the money went. And take action accordingly.

As Rubio said very clearly, we will continue to provide foreign aid, BUT it will only be provided in areas that are aligned with and supportive of US policy. Which is to say, ALL the woke crap will be gone, much of the truly important programs that deal with healthcare and children will stay but will be very closely monitored, and probably the majority will be decreased or cut altogether. For example, if it is the policy of the US to turn control of education back to the states, why in hell should we be sending money to other countries for their education programs where they are wasted and stolen by corrupt politicians?

Those who foolishly demand that aid go to zero are not being realistic. If Rubio and Trump accomplish what he described there will be YUGE reduction and saving of tax dollars. It will also deprive the left of one of it’s primary instruments for working around the legitimate government. If they want this crap so bad, let them shaked down Soros and the other rich lefties to pay for it.

USAID is only the very tip of the iceberg of fraud, waste, abuse and theft. Be curious. Why is little OHIO ranked at the top of the payments for their department of health along with giants like California and New York? do they really have that many people who are sick?

Even those expenditures need to be very closely monitored with in depth desk and on site audits.

The NGOs have gotten very skilled at siphoning off funds for their evil agendas.

I had a friend from Uganda when I was in college nearly 50 years ago. He wanted to go back and become minister of agriculture with his engineering degree. I taught him to weld and fabricate things out in the engineering lab. I wonder what became of him?
