The mainstream media once flooded our screens with coverage of Syria, painting a narrative of regime change and humanitarian intervention. But now? Silence. Why? Because their mission is complete. In this eye-opening conversation, Kevork Almasian reveals the shocking truth about Syria’s new rulers—an Al-Qaeda-linked regime quietly accepted by the West. Once branded as terrorists, they are now treated as legitimate leaders while Syria’s secular past is erased.

The MSM also forgot what was happening in Vietnam after the U.S. exited. Every single civilian death was overly reported up until then. But afterward, when the communists swept down from the north and killed a million South Vietnamese, there was nary a peep. Mission accomplished.
That said, at least they did put a stop to Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, and realized in the 80s that Communism doesn’t work.
There are still plenty of Marxists in America. One was recently a two-term president.
Some people just have to learn the hard way.
I thought Jug Ears served a third term from the basement.
Don't care.
Who the rulers of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia are - very important.
Syria? Not our problem. Taking it away from Turkey was a big mistake, they did a good job with it for 800 years.
After a turbulent 100 years, looks like nature is reasserting herself.
“Surprised?”
I don’t think so.
They appear to be typical, fascist, Islamist Jihadis.
Potentially mucking things up for the ascension of Erodgen as the Supreme Caliph.
Yes, Joe was a Puppet. Not only to the Kenyan, but to China.
Iran as well. We got rid of the Shah because of “human rights abuses” and ignored the human rights abuses of the people that took over. Carter only cared about rights if it was an ally. IOW he really didn’t care about human rights.
Obama and Biden’s Arab Spring in Syria. What could go wrong?
With more to come no doubt. I was born in 1947, so I hope I'm dead when they take power again, and they will.
Joe McCarthy was right. He saw things the rest of this country chose to ignore. While we were overseas fighting the spread of communism, we took our eye off the ball here, and allowed domestic communism to seed, take hold and flourish over the decades, especially within the Democrat Party.
At least we didn’t fly airstrikes on behalf of the VC and NVA.
No, we all knew this.
Anyone with half a brain understood that Assad was the least bad option in Syria and that off of these "Syrian Freedom Fighters" groups were nothing more than rebranded al-Qaeda Islamists.
Yeah. Obama bombed the snot out of Libya and armed Syrian rebels on behalf of al Qaeda. He even got a Peace Prize. He’s not the only one—Clinton bombed Serbia on behalf of Kosovo.
Sometimes you get The American Revolution and sometimes you get the French Revolution.
Ottoman Empire was from 1536 to 1918. Not 800 years. If they had done such a great job for those almost 400 years, they would not have collapsed in 1918. Things started going down hill during Napoleon’s Egyptian campaign from 1798 to 1802, so the last 115 years was just the other shoe dropping. In effect, the Ottoman Empire’s hey day lasted only 262 years. After that, Napoleon kicked some Ottoman a@@, they tried to modernize by building the Suez Canal, became heavily indebted to England, which foreclosed on Egypt when it defaulted on payments, and so on and so forth. Losing WW I and collapsing was just the final straw. The Ottomans took over an already hollowed out Mamluk empire, because the spice trading Europeans learned how to circumnavigate Africa and avoid the costly overland rout. The deliberately swamped up Mediteranean coast that the Mamluks used to repel the vanquished Crusaders exiled to Malta and reduced to piracy, remained swampy until some Jewish pioneers came in and started draining the swamps, poisoning locust infestations, and planting forests. The Mongols settled in Crimea, Iran and Afghanistan.
Same things that went wrong in Egypt. Hopefully, Trump will manage it better.
“Some people just have to learn the hard way.”
And then, there are some people that are too stupid learn... any way. And those people are allowed to vote.
