Poland’s historical blunders are:
1. Having the Vasa kings elected to the throne - unnecessarily embroiling Poland into the Swedish throne wars and leading to the Potop
2. having the Saxon kings - these were rapacious wastrels
3. not absorbing Prussia when they had the chance in the 16th century
4. not making the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth into the Polish-Lithuanian-Ruthenian commonwealth in the early 1600s, staving off the Chmielnicki revolt
