In the 1950s and up until the mid 1960s the leftist Hollywood writers were a bit more subtle. They used symbolism that often went over the head of the viewers.

One example of that technique was the 1966 film “Seconds” starring Rock Hudson. It was brilliantly done—with the overall theme that evil capitalism treated humans like meat. One scene showed meat trucks driving around town. Another scene showed an evil dude taking his time enjoying a chicken meal at his desk.

After that the leftists just went for the sledgehammer effect—blatant propaganda that even chimps could recognize.

***were convicted for misappropriating funds meant for the tribe.***

Yet the tribes still vote Democrat (except for the tribes in Oklahoma. they still despise Andrew Jackson). Both Generals Custer and Gen Crook knew most of the Indian Wars of the 1870s were due to misappropriation of tribal funds and goods by Indian Agents at that time. Gen Custer almost got cashiered when he showed the stealing by the “Indian Ring” got too close to Grant’s administration.

Securities Fraud is federal. Felony crime on a tribal reservation is federal.

And there HAS TO be a way to tie him to some state crime with everything he’s done.

Please let there be.

Embezzlement or misappropriation of funds is typically charged under state law, isn’t it?

If Hunter’s actions involve state crimes, he can still be indicted, tried, and convicted.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

the Oglala Sioux have their own tribal nation and should be able to extradite & prosecute hunter to pine ridge, SD for his crimes against their nation?

scalp him?

I’m pretty sure that spending ill-gotten gain or otherwise moving it are separate crimes of money laundering and similar infractions of the law. There’s probably tax evasion and racketeering.

Such crimes are not exempt from prosecution because they are occurring now when Biden is no longer president. His pardon did not and cannot cover future crimes. Spending stolen money is an ongoing crime.

“The fraud centered on a scheme to defraud the Oglala Sioux Native American tribe out of tens of millions of dollars.”

I can think of worse crimes...

In the episode I was watching I was confused by the plot as the conservative characters just didn’t match the crime. Nothing made sense. Then the anti conservative monologue hit and I realized the author had bent over backwards to contrive an unrealistic situation just so the main character could deliver his scathing monologue.

Here is a follow-up question:

Even if the pardon wipes away the crimes that resulted in the money, it doesn't wipe away the money. It was still income, even if it was ill-gotten, and even if the crime was pardoned, and even if the pardon included failing to report 2022 and 2023 income to the IRS.

As long as Biden still has the money, he has three years to amend prior tax returns (two prior tax periods). Since we're now filing for the 2024 tax period, Biden should have been able to amend his 2023 and 2022 taxes.

If Biden hid income and the crimes drove him to hide that income, those crimes have been pardoned. That means that Biden should amend his tax forms to claim that income now that it's in the open.

If Biden still fails to amend his 2022 and 2023 tax forms in 2025, and then files his 2024 tax forms and still fails to claim ill-gotten pardoned gains, then can he be charged with three new counts of tax fraud because these would be 2025 crimes that are outside of the boundaries of the pardon?

I can see it the way you described it. If I am not mistaken, what offends you (and me) is the use of entertainment by them (often paid for by us) solely as a vehicle to transport and convey to us their putrid Leftist ideology.

Almost as if they had slipped in in obliquely, and then had it lost in the continuing flow of the movie, like throwing a crumpled up sheet of paper into a raging river, we might have shrugged our shoulders and gone on.

But in these kinds of cases, they design the movie plot, script, and construction solely to be the vehicle for their BS. It is as if they were the ChiComs with a room full of Americans taken prisoner in the Korean War, and were designing and executing an engineered propaganda campaign.

Which as we know...they are...or at least, attempting to.

Even if the pardon wipes away Hunter’s money-making crimes, it
doesn’t wipe away the money. It’s still income according to the IRS.

If Biden fails to amend his 2022 and 2023 tax forms in 2025, and then files his 2024 tax forms and still fails to claim ill-gotten pardoned gains, he can be charged with three new counts of tax fraud because these would be 2025 crimes that are outside of the boundaries of the pardon......
