They never stop, nor learn.
The media has long since devolved into absurdism. There’s really no reason to pay attention to them any longer, any more than we’d take Pravda under the Soviets seriously. We should laugh at them and move on. I hope Trump and his press secretary sideline the legacy propaganda media and focus more on the alternative media that can still be taken seriously.

I hope that is sarcasm there. Can’t tell. If you go to Breitbart you will see pictures of Hillary, Obama, Kamala and Elizabeth Warren with the same gesture.
Or American school children using the Bellamy Salute for 40 years during the daily Pledge of Allegiance.

it’s a form of speech, and i do freely admit i’m prejudiced against mainland chinese, unless of course they denounce communism.
There was a very distinctive difference between what Elon Musk did and an actual Nazi salute. He started his motion by very forcefully pressing his hand against his heart, with the open palm against his heart. Then he threw his arm forward and up. When he said “My heart goes out to you,” those words exactly matched the symbolic motion he just did. The end of his motion does look like a Nazi salute, so it’s not a great look, but if you look at ALL of his motions, combined with his words, it’s not a Nazi salute.
Any news organizations that publish this crap should not be allowed at WH news briefings. People like Jim Acosta would be banned.
Frankly at this point the lefty media get more eyes-on from stories like this than exist in their own audience. The only people watching them now are the true believers.
Conservative social media is making far too much of this idiocy and giving it oxygen. No one believes the MSM, no one cares. A couple of months ago they were claiming that Trump was saying Liz Cheney should face a firing squad. The MSM lies. Everyone knows it, no one pays attention anymore.
