I know a lot of these are reversing horrible Biden executive orders and need to be done. But I do not like the trend - started with Obama - of governing by executive order. The boundaries of what is being done by the executive alone are being pushed further and further.

Just a guess, but a lot of people bought tickets to the inauguration. Maybe this is so they don’t leave Washington not having seen anything.

I agree with you. Every four (or eight) years we are going to get whipsawed back and forth with executive actions that properly belong in the legislative. It’s 200 EO this time, 400 next time the presidency changes parties, then 800 the time after that.
That is no way to run a country. Unfortunately the Democrats shredded so many precedents the past 16 years, culminating in unbridled lawfare. How do we get the respect of precedent and continuity back?
