JUST IN: Biden Spits in the Face of J6 Victims by Pardoning Capitol Hill Cop Michael Byrd, Who Killed Trump Supporter Ashli Babbitt
Gateway Pundit ^ | 01/20/2025 | Cullen Linebarger

As Jim Hoft reported earlier, Joe Biden pardoned Tony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and the entire J6 Select Committee of liars in his final act as president.

They were all faithful servants to the Democrat machine. Now comes their reward.

Now, we learn Biden has extended one final middle finger to the victims of J6 by pardoning all of the Capitol police officers who testified regarding the J6 protests. This means a full pardon to incompetent US Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd, who killed Air Force veteran and American war hero Ashli Babbitt.

so he is guilty. Call him to court as a witness, rake the sob over the coals so everyone knows and let him walk.

Just nullify these “pardons”. Biden didn’t know what he was doing.

Excerpt from “Overview of the Pardon Power” from Constitution.Congress.com

Beyond textual limits, certain external constitutional and legal considerations may act as constraints on the power. For instance, the Court has indicated that the power may be exercised at any time after [an offense’s] commission,8 reflecting that the President may not preemptively immunize future criminal conduct.

Assuming the recognized limitations are not transgressed, a full pardon granted by the President and accepted by its subject15 prevents or removes any of the penalties and disabilities consequent upon conviction . . . .
++++++
IOW The pardon implies quite explicitly that an offense was committed by Byrd and that he did not have to accept the pardon, should he want to preserve the illusion of innocence.

You need to read more.

Pardons are done for all sorts of crimes but usually after the said criminal has been charged and convicted.
But the power to pardon is without limitations it seems

Civil suits to follow and no 5th amendment bar to depositions, subpoenas, etc.

That’s right. Biden has now elevated pardon power to anyone who has not been indicted or convicted of a crime.

It now opens Byrd up to a wrongful death civil suit.

A crime does not have to have been committed in that state for a state to prosecute for it so long as it has effects within the state. For example if the person murdered were a resident....or if their spouse is a resident.....

I doubt that is true unless it involves interstate crime which this was not

Which state do you propose to bring charges? Texas?

Its true. It was true when I passed the bar exam and its still true today.

As to which state, it would have to be a state in which there were effects....ie if the husband resided in such a state for example.

All of this is not right. Its all lost in the celebration. Magic makes it go away.

Should I be waiting for President Trump's pre-pardon of his entire cabinet and the executive branch for the next 4 years?

No one will face a crime of the last 4 years.

Personally, I find this to be a gift to We the People. It literally unmasks everything. Conspiracy folks were right and millions knew it.

Yes we were right, but I am not consoled that these criminals are off the hook for their crimes. I'm also mad at the media, the corrupt media who assisted the lies.
