President Donald Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, has said the immigration raids on “Sanctuary Cities,” including Chicago and New York, may be placed on pause after details about the plan were leaked to the media.

Homan told the Washington Post that leaks put law enforcement officers at "great risk."

"We're looking at this leak and will make a decision based on this leak," Homan said. "It's unfortunate because anyone leaking law enforcement operations puts officers at great risk."

Homan told the paper that he did not know why Chicago “became a focus of attention” when enforcement is planned nationwide.

“ICE will start arresting public safety threats and national security threats on day one,” Homan said. “We’ll be arresting people across the country, uninhibited by any prior administration guidelines. Why Chicago was mentioned specifically, I don’t know.”

“This is nationwide thing,” he continued. “We’re not sweeping neighborhoods. We have a targeted enforcement plan.”

Offering large amounts of cash to any employer who is employing an illegal to turn them in without ANY legal retribution against said employer would make it nearly impossible for an illegal to trust anyone who seeks to hire them since there would soon be an endless supply of fake job offers just to collect the bounty. Every job becomes a trap.. even a job working for criminals, i.e. drugs, extortion..etc becomes dangerous since even a criminal can collect a bounty for turning you in...

Just start imprisoning the CEOs for felonies.

It’s kinda hard to punish the leakers (except to not let them have a job in the new administration) because the new administration hasn’t officially started. But once they are on the job then the new FBI Director & his team should go after the leakers.

Thinking of the FBI .... the White House staff and cabinet officers & other political appointees ought to all be scheduling any of their meetings with anyone from the FBI through the WH Counsel office. There’s got to be plenty of folks like Peter Strzok just anxious to take down folks like General Flynn. Unless the new Director & his selectees approve of such meetings then such meeting requests need a lot of scrutiny.
