Government controls our lives.
Government fails to keep the border, fails to protect us from crime, fails to prepare for disasters, fails to help when disaster comes.
Government cannot justify itself. We need a lot less government.
Gallivanting mayor Karen Bass berated Republicans saying Sen Ted Cruz “fleeing Texas in
the middle of a deadly crisis” is part of a larger pattern of the GOP abandoning folks in crisis.
“We need to build a movement to kick them all out,” she insisted.
What a crazy lezbo. What the hell does Ted Cruz have to do with California burning to the ground because of its choice of voting for political Marxist scumbags?
Bass was a fan of Castro and for years brought youth groups to Cuba. She publicly lamented Castro’s death and what a tragedy his passing as for the people of Cuba.
Obama was her biggest supporter.

Cruz is a Senator, not the Mayor or a Governor, Senator is not exactly a hands on job at the center of local emergencies.

Bass's tweet about Cruz was from Feb 2021 when Texas had the winter power grid meltdown(gas and electricity). He headed off for a vacation somewhere warmer..
Yes it does. She criticized Cruz and - read above - did the same or worse by flying to Africa in the face of warnings of the fire.

I’m not sure if someone coined this or not (perhaps Reagan), or if it’s my saying but growing up, my understanding of things were simplified by my grandfather as:
Democrats believe more government is the solution to problems whereas republicans believe less government is the solution to problems.
My old secular jewish republican grandfather was a diamond in the rough amongst his ww2 era yenta friends who were ALL jewish FDR democrats.
A very rare breed indeed for those days
