Truth in media, should be the law of the land.

So, all media sources should research all their reports before putting them out there to the public. Intentionally false reports should result in warnings to the violators. Intentionally reporting falsely many times, should equal revocation of the media source’s license, with penalties in monetary compensation to the damaged parties.

While at it, perhaps truth in politics should also be the law of the land. Thus, if one is accused of being an agent of Russia or China or some other enemy entity, the campaign involved should be punished and the candidate involved should have to compensate the injured party. Russia/Russia/Russia would never have happened.
