Yet if you have anything critical to say about Putin, then you really automatically are charged with being for the Left, regardless of how much you reject that perverse, anti-Christ, power-hungry, dictatorial proxy servant of Hell.
The word “tolerance” is absent from the Scriptures for a reason. (It’s not synonymous with “patience”, which appears in them frequently.)
And Matthew 7:1 is taken out of context way too often; the proper context is in the following verses as well as John 7:24.
Emulating Jesus is a safe bet.
Yep.
I see that you have been here since 2018. Surely, you know by now that your opinion of/comments regarding the media you are linking belongs at comment #1. You have inserted such at the beginning, which is where the excerpt should appear.
Very confusing
And no, I didn't know that. 🤦♂️
He may have “hung out with” sinners (which we all are), but His message was always of repentance and “sin(ning) no more”, a message never well received by humanity at large. That doesn’t nullify the message, of course.
I understand. Probably you should have C&P’d this from the source since there was no excerpt:
BREAKING: Conservative Media’s DARKEST SECRET: They’re CLOSET LIBERALS! The Proof Will SHOCK You!
Savage just strikes me as a phony with a schtick.
The Derps generally fund both sides of the argument to retain control
Since I retired last year I've read a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of internet articles, and I hate it when I see the words "BREAKING" or "THE PROOF WILL SHOCK YOU" or similar bold/uppercase words in the title.
The way I see it, let me decide what is breaking, or what will shock me. I don't need an article title to tell me that. What know what I mean?
Please, don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to be mean or nasty in my response to your post. But I get sick and tired of the dramatization in newspaper or internet article titles. To be brutally honest, when I see that I normally skip over it. It's only because this video came from Mark Dice that I watched it, and created a posting here. But given my dislike for overdramatization, that's why I create the post in the way I did. I bet there are many here who probably feel the same way.
Thank you, I appreciate you reaching out and raising the question.
“Yet if you have anything critical to say about Putin, then you really automatically are charged with being for the Left, regardless of how much you reject that perverse, anti-Christ, power-hungry, dictatorial proxy servant of Hell.”
The problem is that hate of Putin seems to be accompanied with a trillion dollar defense spending invoice....
Not worth it imho.
If we get to hate him for free count me in!
I have noticed in past several years that many in the conversation movement do not hold the same values that conservatives held 10-20, maybe even 30-40 years back. And I think that's what Mark was trying to point out. I think he mentioned in the video that many in conservative circles would have actually been democrats from the 50's and early 60's.
Oh, I hear you. Yes, that “breaking” talk is so overused and now obnoxious.
Merry Christmas.
And the problem with defending an antagonistic nuclear adversary with territorial ambitions and rife corruption (not that NATO nations overall are not self-destructing themselves, and Ukraine has its own corruption and left leaning trajectory, regardless of Putin's nonsense of them being the military threat) with which the US has been fighting proxy wars for 70 years (due to aid to the Soviets and their espionage) seems to be accompanied by the notion that the US could presently maintain its position with a isolationist stance, without a 7+ dollar defense spending.
Which, in terms of procurement costs, the US military budget has not larger than all other countries*. As was claimed in 2019, while it was actually smaller than the next three and similar to the spending of China and Russia combined. - https://cepr.org/voxeu/columns/debating-defence-budgets-why-military-purchasing-power-parity-matters
*Older post:
If you account for differences in reporting structure, purchasing power, and labor costs, you find that China’s 2017 defense budget provided 87 percent of the purchasing power of American’s 2017 defense budget. This runs counter to the conventional wisdom that the United States spends more on its military than the next 12 countries combined or that China lags annual U.S. military spending by close to $400 billion. Those misleading comparisons are based on simply converting Beijing’s reported defense budget from yuan to dollars by applying a market exchange rate. That produces a distorted picture. - https://www.heritage.org/defense/commentary/chinas-defense-spending-larger-it-looks
China’s .gov operation is a cesspool of waste and corruption—hardly a standard we want to meet.
I would bet 90% of our defense budget is pork, waste, theft and obsolete or just plain dumb weapon systems—and that does not count the insane wokeness that crushes morale and readiness.
We are getting played.
No doubt at all that gov. wastes a lot, lot of money, both by unnecessary purchases and choosing over priced items, and lack of maintenance, as well as in social welfare programs. Whether China is worse is unknown, while corruption in Russia is. But the US military also has moral corruption, and the Left has made it somewhat Woke, while 70% of US youth are unfit/ineligible to serve.
However, the issue is, what would happen is the US retreated from is bases that deter China, and let it take over the S. China sea, and expand outward as well as South, East and North. And let N. Korea invade S. Korea. And leave the Middle East to Islam?
In any case, the years of a nation at war with God assures its demise.
