DO IT, Matt. DO IT.
Just love these guys
Au contraire, mon FR ami.
Gaetz is trying to suppress the report for unknown reasons.
His last ditch is to expose everyone, not just himself.
He may think he will “take one for the team” by being in the 119th then resigning...but this is bare-naked blackmail.
Congress makes sissy and Epstein look like choir boys. The fact that such a thing even exists shows just how corrupt these maggots are.
Good for thee but not for me!
And there is another example of the problem.
The facts do not support your interpretation but time will tell. If there was any substance Gaetz would have been charged.

Thanks Jay.
I was leaning on the past in that , too.
To wit, the opponents WILL find (create) another Blasey-Ford for Gaetz.
Like Kavanuagh, it will delay the inevitable but cast a shadow over Gaetz.
2) His threat will force those who know they're on the list to intercede with the Ethics Committee on his behalf to keep their names out of public sight.
Again, he could have done this at any time after the knowledge that this fund existed came to light and he didn't. He only acted when his ox was about to get gored.
Expose them all, one way or another. I hope it happens.
Don't look to me to call him a hero in the doing.
Go for it Matt! How fitting it would be for the hypocrites to show their true colors as “those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”.
That’s fine with me. It needs to be exposed. Unfortunately, Gaetz is plutonium to me himself. His ulterior motive for vacating McCarthy was to stop his investigation, then he resigned from Congress for his Attorney General nomination to get out from under the investigation and then bowed out of the nomination. Then the ethics committee voted to release the investigation details, anyway.
The only thing I can conclude from Gaetz’s behavior is that there is something to the allegations, unfortunately. I have no desire to vote for him again like I did in November. However, if he gets sworn in to release all that dirt on the other JBH’s in Congress before resigning again, that I can support.
“ expose lawmakers’ “Me Too” settlements paid out using taxpayer funds – and then resign from Congress.”
DO IT!!
Expose the darkness and rot.
Let the light shine.
NO SECRETS.
Exactly.
He should release all the data now.
Threatening to release anything is hazardous to anyone’s health.
Matt makes me dizzy.
I NEVER figured out why he resigned the seat that he was duly elected to in November.
He earned and deserved the seat.
I usually reserve using the term drama queen for those on the left.
But man, oh man, this cat’s life is drama 24/7.
My advice to him would be take the seat and get to work doing what you do best, which stirring up the Swamp.
Because the records show he was indeed giving these women thousands of dollars, which in my view confirms he was indeed having these sex parties and hiring hookers. I don’t know about the 17 year old, but probably too.
So, being guilty as sin, of course he doesn’t volunteer what he knows at the start. He volunteers what he knows at the bitter end in a threat to sink others with him.
I keep going back to his interview with Tucker Carlson, when he tried normalizing introducing a teen girl to Tucker and his wife during a double date.
Nah, I’m not okay with that.
And how he “adopted” his son, then used his son’s Venmo to pay teen girls?
No thanks.
If he wants to stir things up, that’s fine with me, but some of his behavior with young girls is absolutely inappropriate.
I don’t think you realize that what the committee has done changes everything, because they were the first to say that “private” information should be released to the public. This was a grave error on their part because no matter how much their colleagues beg to keep the secrecy, they’ve already voted as a group that personal privacy is not a reason to withhold information from the public.
This is a new development - something that didn’t exist in that whole time you think he could/should have been doing something. He waited for the left to obliterate their own arguments first. Don’t blame him or impugn his integrity simply because he played the game wisely.
While Gaetz is at it he should also make FOIA requests for all communications between members of Congress and people on the Ethics Committee. We the people have been shafted by the sausage-making factory for far, far, far too long.
You don’t have to think Gaetz is a hero, but saying that he is blackmailing people is defamatory, IMHO. You say that it “reeks of an act of desperation” but where are you seeing him offering to not do any of this if the committee buries the report? I could be wrong, but I don’t think he much cares whether the report is public because in the end it will exonerate him anyway. But I think he’s smart enough to realize that the swamp just made a critical error that gives him a unique chance to open up this can of worms finally.
In addition, though I can’t remember the details, he has said that this whole mess is tied up in extortion of his father, and I think he would LOVE to expose all that crap too. The Deep State has just handed him a huge, huge gift in an unforced error, and if he cares about this stuff enough to be so hated by the Deep State, he would be crazy not to take the gift they handed him and run with it.
And if he has the courage to do that - unlike, say, Chuck Schumer who won’t do anything against the Deep State because they have “six ways from Sunday at getting back at you” - I WILL hail him as a hero for doing what nobody else in all this time has been willing to do.
I believe the OAN show was used to trick the Deep State into thinking that was all Gaetz gave up the AG position for, but I don’t think he would sell himself that short. I think this chess move against the Deep State was in mind the whole time - perhaps even worked out with the Sun Tzu expert himself, DJT.
Having the lawfare and corruption of this committee on full public display at this very moment, when the J6 committee’s similar lawfare and corruption is being exposed, is master timing. Only God Himself could have timed this better - and it may be that He is the one who actually brought this all together.
I really, really hope he goes through with this.
If those things are true, then why did his accuser admit to investigators that he made the whole thing up to frame Gaetz?
Thanks for that link.
It sounds to me that what Matt is objecting to is how the left uses libel to circumvent due process. They don’t charge any crimes because if they did it would allow a chance for their “evidence” to be shown for the bullcrap it is. So instead they use political lawfare, “leaks”, investigations, allegations, etc to libel people, as one of the “six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”. They’ve done it to Trump, they’re doing it to him, they’ve done it to thousands of J6 defendants, and they will do it to anybody who poses a genuine threat to the Deep State. It is lawless. Utterly lawless.
THAT seems to be what Gaetz is fuming about - and we should ALL be fuming about it. Gaetz - like Hegseth - is admitting that he had a time of wildness but did nothing illegal (and they know that or all these Deep Staters who hate him would have charged him with something) and he has changed.
But that, right there, is the Deep State’s biggest nightmare: that somebody can own up to mistakes and move on without becoming slaves to whoever might bring up their past. Exposing the hush fund will provide others the opportunity to do the same - which might be painful for them and their families who have been hiding all this time, but what it would absolutely destroy is the Intel Community’s “six ways from Sunday”.
The same situation holds true for Epstein and Diddy. The reason the Deep State doesn’t want any of this exposed and actually dealt with is because that would render them powerless.
And that is exactly what we need.
It sounds to me like Matt is willing to go first. Let people know his past and the lawless warfare against him. I don’t think he’s afraid of that. I think he’s ready to sock the Deep State in the nuts. I don’t think he cares about the report coming out - except for the way that it libels him and the way that the rule of law is subverted through these tactics.
