It is interesting the letter from the students indicates the contracts for this housing (marketed to students) bans firearms from the premises. This is only implied in the unverified letter, and has not been confirmed.

yes that is interesting. Just a few years ago, the letter would have demanded the removal of guns for “our safety.”
The letter may not be bold, but there appears to be a subtle message.
