President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi declared last year that if Trump were to return to the White House, she would work to eliminate the “deep state” from the U.S. Department of Justice and ensure accountability.
Her nomination as U.S. Attorney General by President-elect Trump sends a clear signal: the Justice Department will undergo a seismic shift in its priorities, with a renewed focus on accountability for those who, Bondi says, have weaponized the justice system for political gain.
In 2023, Bondi didn’t mince words in her appearance on Fox News following Trump’s fourth indictment.
“When Republicans take back the White House, you know what’s going to happen? The Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones,” Bondi said.
“The investigators will be investigated because the deep state, last term for President Trump, they were hiding in the shadows, but now they have a spotlight on them, and they can all be investigated.”

I will believe it when I see it. she still gives me the Jeff Sessions vibes.
someone needs to ask her what she did to George Zimmerman in the Trayvon murder investigation. Pam Bondi is a deep state stooge who the dems have foisted on MAGA because of their attacks on Matt Gaetz. she will work to be a huge roadblock to Trump’s plans to dismantle Byedim’s/Obamanation’s reign.

Chuck Schumer for threatening Supreme Court Justices. Nancy Pelosi for trying to organize a complete overthrow of the government.
She is for red flag laws.
While I can see a theoretical need, there is too much potential for abuse.
Unless Pam hits the road running on this, I feel unlikely to see justice in my lifetime.
Schwartz Gyorgy. The Clinton crime cartel. The world enslavement forum.
I prefer persecuted with financial and reputations ruined. A few should end up doing the “Hemp and Branch” dance.
A better formulation of the thought: The persecutors will be prosecuted.

Think big, go big, or go home. Nobody said any of this would be easy, but the left has enough concerns about their own vulnerability such that they are lawyering up.
We need to think both immediate accomplishments AND long-term strategy. The long-term includes changing the voting laws such that cheating is rare, and changing laws such that attorney's can be sued for prosecutorial misconduct.
Red flag laws have a number of problems.
There is no percentage of jurisdiction population limit (say .01%) on them.
There is no financial incentive to return the guns. If the jurisdiction had to pay 10% of the highest historical retail value of the guns (since 2019) monthly based on reference book valuations (unless the person was convicted of a felony or serving time in the prior 12 months) takings might get reviewed.
There is no legal service provision. The owner should have a hearing within 30 days of owner request with up to $5000 in private counsel fees paid by the taking jurisdiction, unless the person has a charge punishable by imprisonment pending.
I agree.
My mother went to her grave cursing Jeff Sessions.
I assume Gaetz was informed that he didn’t have enough votes in congress to put through his nomination and was “encouraged” to bow out so he wasn’t a liability to Trump. Too bad, he would have made a great AG.
Pam Bondi - not so sure.
“the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones”
A grand jury of about 25 people agreed to indict (in criminal cases).
A petit jury of 12 agreed to convict or award damages.
“he would have made a great AG”
Dear AG Bondi:
[suggestions]
Matt
Trump & Musk can afford to hire consultants. The people Trump nominates only need follow good advice.
Could be done.
Matt Gaetz as special counselor.
Gaetz posted on X, that Democrats have always claimed special counsels do not need Senate confirmation.
Have Never Trumpers who post on FR, the 4d chess board is coming into view.
