Governor Gavin Newsom, through a private LLC, bought a $9 million in the Marin County town of Kentfield on Thursday, where he is expected to begin soon dividing time from staying in Sacramento and commuting from his new home.

Wow. Just wow. 🙄
Don’t tell me. He’s going to call it Gavinland.
Did P Diddy give him his guest list?
Typical white elitist liberal. Vote for policies that ruin everyone else’s neighborhoods, but keep that crap away from my exclusive community!
$9M does not buy that much house in Marin
It pisses off California politicians that Sacramento is in Sacramento. Some stinky farm town on a river? You kidding me? No vineyards or “French Laundry” franchises? Smelly walmart people everywhere. Colored people roam the street speaking strange languages and have dirty clothes from working the fields in the neighboring farms. The stink of evil cow farts wafting in from feed lots makes it hard to enjoy imported Japanese Wagu beef at The Kitchen in Old Town Sac. The summers are hot and dusty and the Tule fog sticks around for months at a time.
A real “man of the people’ running the state would obviously move to the nice comfortable confines of a mansion in Marin County.
(And what kind of strings did he pull to get ANYTHING in Marin County for 6 million. There is no way in hell he found something as cheap in Marin County.)
It pays to be a ‘rat politician in the republic.
I hope he stayed away from the water, what with global warming and melting ice and all.
Yes but he has other properties like vineyards in Napa and such?
It does make you wonder, since he was mayor of San Francisco,,why doesn’t he live in San Francisco?
You’re assuming he paid market value and not the politician discount.
I lived in Moron County for a good 20 years-1989-2009...wonderful weather, awesome, landscape, really a spectacular place when you get out in the woods and nature—LOVE the place. Obviously the liberal mindset is a joke, but, hey—what the heck do you want? I am back in CT now-—horrible weather, boring as hell-—same miserable liberal idiot mindset but I have not the wonderful weather and landscape to justify or make living here tolerable........
I mean, according to that Erogon judge in NYC, Mar-a-lago is only worth $18 million and Trump valuing it at a much higher value is a civil crime with the punishment being his net worth.
I lived in the Bay Area many decades ago—I always hated the people from Marin County—snobby leftists—the very worst kind.
I think so.
Good question!
Just ask the Clinton crime cartel and the Obeyme dynasty.
Well, Otisville was already taken by his much smarter cousin.
