CNN‘s data analyst Harry Enten said President Donald Trump‘s massive gains with certain groups in the 2024 election were much worse than a knockout blow for Democrats.
While Democrats suffered meltdowns following their historic loss, Enten said they haven’t fully grasped how bad it was for them.
Enten broke down the numbers, showing how significant Trump’s victory was.

You’re right, although I unplugged my TV about 8 years ago, I work with people who are libs and lefties. They continued to tell me how Trump was going to lose really badly. Breathlessly reporting polls to me daily, and how awesome to have a black, female potus.
I took off from work starting Wednesday so I have yet to hear their reactions to the election😉

It is the logical principle called “criterion of embarrassment”. When people, even those generally unreliable, espouse something that would actually bring them shame and embarrassment, it is more likely that they are speaking the truth.
