I am so sorry to hear this, Diana. Those a-holes wouldn’t let my brother’s wife or children be with him on his deathbed, even though all were vaccinated, and as you say, did everything they were told to do. He died all alone, like your father. That kills me to this day.
My brother was probably the nicest person you would ever meet. We are 3+ years out, and it’s still fresh. I keep his prayer card with his favorite prayer in my wallet. Whenever I pull out my credit card, the Prayer of St. Francis is staring at me. One side has the prayer, and the other has one of my brother’s latest photos before he passed.
