Vote totals (Election Day only)
576,036 See @DataRepublican pinned post on explanation Advantage: Trump by 21.82%
Advantage is calculated against 2016 vote totals Details 6.12% of 2016 total turnout 6.02% of 2016 early turnout D-R gap (raw): -129421
Maybe a lot of both. I always wanted trump to yell to everyone to harvest votes in every state allowed.
Essentially, that is all of them; their men are women.
GOP advantage in Florida hits 1,000,000 votes.
Hope it rains downstate this evening!

I think DeSantis will run for Senate, since Vance should have the inside track to the Presidency in 2028.
FWIW I would support it if it was legislated. I am adamantly opposed to these attempts to amend our constitution because people like John Morgan can’t get the House to take it up. I agree that adults can make their own decisions, but this should not be an amendment but law.
Definitely. I go at 1 o’clock to vote and taking two neighbors. Florida will definitely get 4 votes for trump. I FINALLY decided to vote no on Marajuana. I did vote yes on medical, but don’t think recreational is a good idea. I know trumps for it in Florida, but DeSantis is not. Trumps wrong on this.
I’d like to see Ted Cruz appointed as a SCOTUS justice. He’d do well there and he’s young enough to have an impact - Lord willing - over the next few decades.
Would you rather start the day with an 800,000 votes by Republican early lead or 800,000 votes by Republicans behind?
It was both a massive 2020 steal with mail in ballots sent out willy nilly and a horrible Democrat candidate this year.
It is kinda hard for the Democrats to turn out voters in person when those people never existed in the first place.
Still traumatized by what happened in 2020, and any number of times in down ballot races where ballots keep coming in from unknown places, highly favoring Democrats
This is not 2020 for dozens of reasons that have been discussed here at extraordinary length for the past few weeks.
I salute all the Freepers who have done the hard work and deep analysis on this topic.
Help me find how concerns about overseas mail-ins have been allayed
“”””Statewide Florida has 67 Counties, only 7 have more Democratic Early Votes than Republicans.
Alachua
Broward
Palm Beach
Orange
Osceola
Leon
Gadsden””””
Yup. The usual Democrat strongholds.
Alachua = Home of the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
Leon = Home of the Florida State Capital and Florida State U.
Why is it that Democrats seem to hang out at Universities and State Capitals?
And Florida is not the only state where this is the case.
In 2016 Trump beat Clinton by 115,000 votes in Florida.
In 2020 Trump beat Biden by 350,000 votes in Florida.
In 2024 Trump will beat Kamala by more than 750,000 votes in FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And our “good friends” at Faux news have graciously dubbed Florida “likely Republican” - not Solid - but “likely Republican.”
Remember FOX IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!
The “early voting” doesn’t mean anything. It’s the “late voting” that tells the tale.
Nice try - you obviously don’t live in Florida.
FAMU is also in Tallahassee aka Leon County, a historical HBCU if I’m not mistaken, FAMU has a little over 10,000 students.
Broward County is Fort Lauderdale
Orange and Osceola are both Orlando
Yeah, we sure love our amendments here in Florida...
Your number is low—amazingly enough.
Trump already has your margin in early voting and then there is this:
https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2024/10/24/american-voters-expectations-for-voting-this-year/
With a thumbnail calculation I come up with well over a million vote margin when all the votes are counted.
“With a thumbnail calculation I come up with well over a million vote margin when all the votes are counted.”
Wow! That would compare to a 371,686 vote margin for Trump in FL in 2020.
(Trump - 5,668,731; Biden - 5,297,045)
