Bill Gates Takes His Mask Off: 'The World Needs New 'One World' Religion to Accommodate AI'

If you thought Bill Gates’ DNA-altering vaccines were bad, wait until you hear about what he had to say about ushering in a new global religion to accommodate article technology.

During an appearance on the “Possible” podcast, co-hosted by LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, Gates insisted humanity needs a new type of global religion to coincide with AI technology.

During the unnerving episode, Gates reflects on “spiritually” before suggesting that the current religions of the world will become obsolete.

“The potential positive path is so good that it will force us to rethink how should we use our time,” Gates said.

“You know, you can almost call it a new religion or a new philosophy of, okay, how do we stay connected with each other, not addicted to these things that’ll make video games look like nothing in terms of the attractiveness of spending time on them.”

That’s right, Gates wants us to all begin worshiping machines and reject God.

I first met young Bill Gates as a young year-old boy behind a immense stack of books at the University of Washington Library. A biography of Gates tells the same story:

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the young Gates was an extreme bookworm:

“Just about every kind of book interested him — encyclopedias, science fiction, you name it. I was thrilled that my child was such an avid reader, but he read so much that Bill’s mother and I had to institute a rule: no books at the dinner table.”

When he met Paul Allen, he had a friend with more than a common interest in books. From a biography:

‘Paul, his mom, and younger sister Jody, would often spend hours in the family car devouring piles of books while waiting for his dad to finish with work at the University of Washington as associate director of libraries.”

“Paul’s young mind was inspired by what he read about space, science, and technology. He also regularly attended football games with his dad at Husky Stadium on Saturday afternoons. And it was the school’s computer lab where he and fellow high schooler, Bill Gates, notoriously honed their skills until wearing out their welcome and being asked to leave by the then director of lab. But the two were undaunted and, shortly thereafter, went on to start their first company (years before Microsoft), named Traf-o-Data, with a UW electrical engineering student.”

But seeing young Bill Gates behind that pile of books at the U of W library made me tell him, “I know for a fact, you are going to be very successful when you grow up.” He thanked me and I went my way after saying, “Good luck.”
