I hate to say it, but the author makes a good point. It would take the National Guard to remove the millions of illegals who have flooded across our border in the last four years.

If Harris wins, it’s all over. If Trump wins, does he have the will to federalize the National Guard, and get the job done? I doubt it. And what about the children of the illegals? If they are born here, they are all automatically citizens - and most probably future D voters.

Long term, I'm pessimistic. The United States will see its 250th birthday. It may or may not observe its 275th birthday (50/50 chance). The country won't make it to its 300th birthday. Too much has been thrown away by two generations and taken for granted.

Now, I personally do not understand this slight. It’s been a while since I read Winnie, but I thought Eeyore was scared of everythng with no real reason.

Now, if I get robbed every Friday - three times in a row... and on the fourth Friday I’m nervous about getting robbed, and some dandy comes along calling me Eeyore for being worried.... well, who’s the dingus?

There is a clear reason to be concerned about the election being cheated and stolen. The Eeyore comparison is.... not astute in this case.

Many Hispanics are voting for Trump. So if they have the time to settle in the U.S., they will actually Americanize. Obviously, the Democrats are not in favor of that. So they're flooding our borders with illegal immigration.

Florida and Texas are both heavily Hispanic. Yet they are reliably Republican.

While I agree to a point that it seems like only the National Gauard could be mobilized to remove the TENS of MILLIONS of foreign nationals in our country here unlawfully...I believe that congress plays an essential role in this and here's why.

The majority will self deport. And, if they need a "helping hand" to get back to their home countries (after, say X number of months), I'm ok with paying for their one-way ticket back.

There has to be congressional buy-in to the cutting of funds. As in, just cut off the funds, totally.

Many of the illegal aliens would go back home if they have no job, no free housing, no free food, etc.

That has to be part of it.

And, that only has a possibility of happening if (R)'s turn out to vote in (R) control of the congress.

If the (D)'s win, it's the exact opposite and there undoubtedly will not be a "we'll get em next time" for several generations at the earliest.
