Pretty harsh to terminate the employee. Could’ve just terminated the person’s employment.

I remember hearing about a voting machine falling out of a truck on the freeway in Albuquerque (maybe 20 years ago).
I guess the county clerk’s office didn’t have the best and brightest working for them.

“Fell of the back of the truck”
Like we’ve never heard that one before.

discovered on the side of Florida’s Turnpike after reportedly falling from an unsecured county truck. Sooo, they fell off of a turnpike truck.

Usually, it's refrigerators and air conditioners that "fall off the backs of trucks."

Box of Ballots Found on Florida Turnpike After Reportedly Falling Off a Truck — Election Worker Fired How do they know these are genuine and not well manufactured counterfeits?

“reportedly falling from an unsecured county truck.”
When I was in charge of elections, the Precinct Captains transported voted ballots in their own vehicles. (Sometimes a helicopter.) Not exactly secured. But people were more honest then.

" reveal the containers strewn across the roadway at Exit 11, near Cutler Bay. " I sure struggled with the writers visual image . . . OF . . . ' ONE BOX AND ONE BAG ' was strewn ACROSS an intersection in Florida. Both the bag and the box were described as still intact. They must have been HUGE to deserve being described as "being STREWN across the roadway/intersection.

This like having a bag of money fall out of the armored truck.
And this reminds me. Does anyone know if the banks still require that people have to prove that they are who they say they are to withdraw money from the bank. Or is it considered racist to do so for things like bank withdrawals or voting.
