This is about the time when RATS usually abandon the sinking ship. I hope he DOES have you all rounded up for a long term stay that DC J6 Gulag..
Carville is not only ugly he’s also the dumbest man to ever impose himself on the body politic.
He and MADeline fit well together.
Giving away the Democrats’ plans?
How about Trump uses sarcasm and the left takes it as an opportunity to say he meant such things suggested sarcasticly.
The real issue is projection by the left. Not only will they actually do what they suggest about Trump, but they have done and are using the Government for purely partisan objectives.
First, what's the basis for saying he wasn't serious? A whole lot of folks here absolutely support the idea of doing exactly what he said. They don't seem to think it's just sarcasm, so why should everyone else? It's not like he makes that comment and then immediately turns around and accuses the Democrats of doing that, just to make a point. He says it, gets cheers, and then moves on. The only one saying he meant it sarcastically are those making an excuse.
Heck, many times it is simply a tweet or "truth", and it is quoted in its entirety. In this case, he simply retweeted something that said only this: "Liz Cheney is guilty of Treason. Retweet if you want televised military tribunals.". Why should anyone think he meant that sarcastically? There's literally no context other than that statement.
Second, do we accept the excuse that a Democrat meant something sarcastically or jokingly when they say something that is dumb or offensive? Or, do we take them at their word and blast them for the literal meaning of the words they chose to use? Right - we hold them 100% accountable for the words they use.
And third... What difference does it make if he meant it sarcastically if that is not how it is taken by swing voters? Everyone with a brain knows that sarcasm can come across poorly when taken out of context. Everyone also know that political campaigns are full of the other side taking statements that you make and using them for their ads. You have to expect and anticipate that.
The idea that you can say something like that and simply assume that every undecided voter is going to understand that it was just sarcasm is naive in the extreme.
If somebody misquotes you, you have a right to complain. But if they quote your exact wording in the context you used it, and third parties don't understand that you meant it sarcastically, that is on you for using the words you chose to use, unless the next sentence or something clearly changes the meaning and it was left out deliberately.
But that's not what happened here.
Oh wow, is that true James? If so I’ll be right back, going to vote repeatedly for Trump.
Relax, Jimmie; you won’t be arrested, but a stay in a rubber room would probably do you (and us!) some good.
He would have the right to arrest you if you broke the law. Have you broken the law?
p
Well, James, being in bed with the Clintons all these years, may have some things to worry about if someone ever bothered to look. Who knows.
Ah, yeah Gollum. Sweat your ass off.
Judgement Day is coming.
It’s been years since Carville was relevant and I recall hearing the Serpent Head nickname on Free Republic 15-20 years ago. I forgot this nickname but when googling his nickname all I could find was ragin cajun. I vagually remembered it was some sort of snake nickname and all I could think of was Vic Rattlehead which is Megadeth’s mascot. Is ‘Serpent Head’ unique to only Freepers?
No, Lizard. You don’t need the military. Regular LE can take care of you criminals just fine.
I think the people who visited Epstein’s island will be the ones we hear the most from these next few weeks.
“Is ‘Serpent Head’ unique to only Freepers?”
Google have opened a Yuge memory hole over the last few years.....
