LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers' dream season continues.
The Boys in Blue punched a ticket to the World Series after beating the New York Mets 10-5 in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.
Sunday's historic win marks the Dodgers' fourth trip to the Fall Classic since 2017; their first since the 2020 bubble season.

The Yankees played the Dodgers in 1941, 1947, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1963, 1977, 1978 and 1981 with the Yankees winning eight of the Series, according to Sports Illustrated.
MLB got their wish.
11 times in 40 years, then not again for 43
uhhhh...
Dodgers vs Yankees!
Wasn’t following, but I just heard a boat load of fireworks and assumed it was either a revolution beginning, or the Dodgers won. Lol
Not the same Yankees players; not the same Dodgers players...
My favorite series was the one in 1963, when the Dodgers beat the Yankees four straight. This had never happened to the Yankees before, and I don’t believe it has happened since.
Weird that neither team can assemble a reliable starting staff due to injuries, yet will play for the championship. Might be the most relief innings in WS history if the series goes all 7 games.
Epic World Series!
We were loaded enough to get out of NL
Now we get to lose to the Yankees again.
See 1941,1947,1949,1952,1953,1956,1977,& 1978.
But there was 1955,1963, & 1981 so maybe 2024 is our year.
Hate the Dodgers for one reason , their management and the bastard “MAGIC whore Johnson.” Hate the Yankees too but I hope they win.
My father says Koufax was the best pitcher he ever saw.
He also said Mays was the best player he ever saw.

“My father says Koufax was the best pitcher he ever saw.”
I can see how he (Sandy Koufax) won twenty-five games. What I donβt understand is how he lost five. - Yogi Berra
“He also said Mays was the best player he ever saw.”
Vin Scully agrees with your father.
“Weird that neither team can assemble a reliable starting staff due to injuries, yet will play for the championship. Might be the most relief innings in WS history if the series goes all 7 games.”
Freddie Freeman and Miguel Rojas are hobbling too. Either they’ll play at less than 100% or even sit out the series.
Koufax and Drysdale were household names in Southern California in the mid-sixties. My favorite Dodger at the time was Maury Wills, who stole hundreds of bases while playing for the Dodgers.
As the old saying goes, every team in baseball is only 2 players from the World Series,,,,,Koufax and Gibson..
I hope the Dodgers beat the dog snot out of the Eww Yuck Steroids err Skankees.

Who on the Yankees is on steroids?
