How does this facial recognition technology account for significant rapid weight gain and/or loss? The topologies of superficial features like cheeks, chin, forehead, brow, jaw line, upper neck, nape of the neck, nose, jowls...In cases of morbid obesity, they all get blown out of proportion to the extent that a comparison of “before and after” significant rapid weight gain/loss facial topologies would suggest that they look like two different people.

One could write a science fiction novel about a past human civilization more advanced than ours, but they lost control of their own technology - were enslaved by it - and had to fight a bloody war to free themselves, destroy the tech, and then bury and eradicate all evidence so as to prevent the liberated survivors of repeating that mistake.
