I thought biden might go 'scorched earth' if he lost the election. It didn't occur to me it might be against his own party.

President Joe Biden finds himself a victim of the Democrat establishment mutineers, stripped of an opportunity at two-term greatness, and with quite a few interesting incentives coming into the November election.

She seems like the most reasonable suspect.
Or does Joe occasionally have a moment or two of clearheadedness and decides “I’m gonna screw Kamala over for this!”

When Biden donned the Trump hat, I think he was just reverting to form. Joe Biden is a deeply unconfident man. He has a bizarre need to be liked. When he put on the Trump hat, he flashed that toothy “I’m your best friend” smile like he always does and truly had no idea what he was doing.
When he walked onto Air Force one still carrying the hat, that was his show of revenge and plotted by Jill Biden.
They now take every opportunity to sabotage Harris.
That’s true. I had a good friend whose dad was like that. I was sitting with him and he turned to me and said… “ it’s great to see you Peter”. 2 seconds later he was back in the darkness. I’ll never forget that.

Just so. Before he got dementia, his baseline was “stupid”. A small, squalid, stupid, and insecure man with a bad temper. They got him royally pissed off, and he’s right that he was robbed, figuratively at the gun point of the 25th amendment.
A lot of people on this forum invoke the simplistic “how much was he paid” to do this or that. In this particular case I think it’s probably the, because he and the good doctor are also profoundly greedy. I think he’s nibbling around the edges to show his anger, but the payoff prevents him from being any more egregious
I can’t imagine what Joe Biden would look like at the end of a second term. The guy would be sleeping in a coffin midway thru the term as a precaution so they can skip the emergency hospital run and take him directly to the funeral parlor.
