Q: Everyone is asking, ‘Who betrayed Nasrallah?’
A: allah.
I do not doubt that the IDF was able to target this precisely.
The only effect I see from the movement of people (some with cell phones) running for cover. If it sounded like a massive attack from all sides. The clusters might give phone switch data.
I know about RF. Sonic waves, are similar but not the same. Question of electromagnetic vs mechanical generated wave.
The real Lebanese are sick of what the Islamists have done to their nation and are reporting every move the terrorists make to the IDF.
Can you hear sonic booms with your ears? Nasrallah’s mic picked up them up as he was talking live on TV while addressing the people of Lebanon. It’s all a matter of timing similar to using GPS signals to calculate your position on Earth.
Listening to broadcast speech would deliver great location data. Now that background sonic boom would locate where the microphone was, not where it was broadcast from.
Much data was gained in the analysis of Trumps assassination attempt (Crooks, when bullet went through his ear) that way.
Satellite synchronization of time would give grid coordinates.
The IDF is smart.
I’m not sure it had to be a speech.
If they were talking over Short Range VHF, UHF, or microwave transmitters. It might even find the two or more locations in conversation. It would not work on data transmission, there is no microphone to modulate the boom.
Triangulation would work too.
It just dawned on me, even if the conversations were by telephone connection, they still have a microphone for group discussions. I would not have to be RF broadcast.
It is hard to tell what their comms had been reduced to.
First, Israel managed to sabotage several thousand pagers before delivery and detonated them simultaneously.
Second, Israel managed to sabotage several hundred hand-held walkie-talkies before delivery and detonated them simultaneously, the day after blowing up the pagers.
It should not take much brainpower to realize this means it is highly likely Hezbollah's entire command and communication network has been an open book to Israel intelligence for a few years.
Third, two weeks later, when Nasrallah was about to launch another major attack on Israel, after the pager and walkie-talkie sabotage, Israel killed him.
Given what came first and second, what they mean, why is what came third such a surprise?!
