This is SOOOO much bigger than just the Second Amendment - - This goes against:

The Third Amendment protects the zone of privacy in the home.

The Fourth Amendment protects the right of privacy against unreasonable searches. It also applies to unlawful seizures by law enforcement. This is where all that “probable cause” talk comes from.

The Fifth Amendment provides for the right against self-incrimination, which justifies the protection of private information.

The Ninth Amendment, interpreted as justifying a broad reading of the Bill of Rights, protects fundamental rights to privacy in ways not provided above.

The Fourteenth Amendment prohibits states from making laws that violate personal autonomy protections provided for in the first 13 Amendments.

While we are (rightly) upset about being reduced to free range taxation / funding sources they are dedicated to doing something about the free range part and everything they do is towands that end.

Posted this on a gun “buy-back” thread:
Serious what-if/hypothesis to all about how a voluntary gun turn-in will work:

When Kameltoe/They gets installed &/or doesn’t relinquish control and the all-out “legal” Gun confiscation begins, I believe the first step is the nice guy/carrot idea. They do a national “buy-back” program where they offer insane amounts for firearms. $2000 for rifles, $4000 for “Assault” rifles, $500 for handguns, $1000 for “Assault” pistols.
Some naïve folks with 10 -AR’s will turn in a few from their lot for some quick cash.
The second stage is less money and then ending with mandatory no-cash compensation turn-ins.
Those that turned in some (not all) for cash early on will be the first strong arm confiscation in that they know exactly what they have. NOT kicking in the door but frozen bank accounts (of everyone, not just the head of the household), garnished paychecks to pay the daily fines, etc.
That would scare a lot more into voluntarily sacrificing their guns without retribution.
Remember these folks will write the laws (meaning everything legal for the time being), 90% of police and military will absolutely follow orders, and after 6 months of this, 50%+ of the patriots will be disarmed.
Think of 100 folks you know directly and in-directly that fall in the category above. I promise when faced with taking a stand OR the family (brother, sisters, in-laws, all family) starving, you might have 10 folks left.
Don’t just respond and dismiss this, think about it...
