I believe this had to be a preliminary attack to a much larger attack to follow - a move to cripple their command and control before makes a major attack on installations, ammo and supplies. The ability of Hezebollah to respond to a big attack is severely limited - temporarily. I think Israel will now take the opening to hit them very hard.
