That silly piece of paper calls for a 24 hour only voting period for each state...doesnt have to be the same day...but only 24 hours for each state.
I can see how, wich communications so rapid these days compared to the 1800s :), that same day voting for all states is important.
But with the increase in technology...24 hours only voting should be EASIER to accomplish.
Seems like the constitution is one of those pick as needed documents for dems...if they beileve in it at all
Just another example of how far this country has fallen.
Imagine the effort it took to vote on “voting day” a hundred or two hundred years ago, and yet it happened.

It is all so amusing to those of us that are familiar with history.
I’m reading a great book about the 1898 reinstated institution of white supremacy that was largely the Democrat Party activists killing and running off the properly elected black and white city officials of Wilmington, NC. They made clear that black people better not aspire to elective or appointive office as the Democrat Party was going to insure it no longer happened.
Yes, those days had their Mitt Romneys and Chris Christies as well because there were office holding establishment Republicans that played along. But the record makes clear that institutionalized White Supremacy’s creation was a Democrat Party central plank. The party was reinstituted by that plank.
The liberal News & Observer newspaper chain was bought out of failure and lead the charge of reinvigorated White Supremacy.
