On August 26, 2021, 13 service members were killed by bomb during the Biden/Harris panic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Three years later Gold Star families invited Donald Trump to participate in commemoration of their losses.
Kamala Harris took a cheap shot at Trump for his visit:
Vice President Kamala Harris slammed former President Donald Trump’s controversial photo-op at Arlington National Cemetery with Gold Star families on Monday, claiming he “disrespected sacred ground.”This didn't sit well with the Gold Star families at all. They issued a video in response:Even though he was invited by Gold Star families, Democratic presidential nominee accused Trump of staging a “political stunt” after his campaign staff got into an altercation with a cemetery employee who tried to stop them from filming and photographing a wreath-laying ceremony in Section 60 — the burial site for military personnel killed while fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“It is not a place for politics,” Harris said in lengthy a statement posted on social media Saturday afternoon.
“Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt,” she continued.

Numerous times over the last few days as I watch the Trump at Arlington hand wringing liberal media excoriate Trump ... I’m perplexed as to why in Trump’s defense they don’t show Biden impatiently looking (repeatedly) at his watch as the bodies, in flag draped coffins, were off loaded from a military transport aircraft when they returned to U.S. soil at Dover, DE.
